Dr. Hunt joined the faculty of Rutgers University in 2017. He is an Assistant Professor in the School of Health Profession's Department of Health Informatics. He previously served as Associate Dean and Professor at Davenport University. Before transitioning to higher education Dr. Hunt served in leadership roles with Sparrow Health System, ProMedica Health System, and Mercy Health Partners. He is a past-president of the Michigan Health Information Management Association (MHIMA) and the Lake Huron Health Information Management Association.
